Michigan’s tech startup and venture capital ecosystems continue to grow at a rapid pace but the talent within this community is disproportionate to the diversity found across the state. In order to help strengthen our local, diverse talent pipelines, Michigan Founders Fund launched a DEI-focused internship program for college students underrepresented in the tech industry, the MFF Internship Program. Now in its third year, 15 college students from across the state are working at 10 Michigan startups through the summer and participating in professional development, mentorship, and network expansion opportunities to grow the pipeline of diverse talent into the ecosystem.
Join MFF interns, partner companies, MFF members, and the broader ecosystem to celebrate the students and ensure the startup space is more welcoming, inclusive, and successful.
Expect food, drinks (alcoholic and non), an opportunity to connect with interns, and great conversation!
