MFF Community Guidelines
This space is intended to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual support. To ensure that everyone gets the most out of our community, we ask all members to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Respect for Everyone
Treat all members with respect. Inclusive language is mandatory; discriminatory, offensive, or harassing communication is not tolerated. We’re all here to learn and grow, so let’s build a positive environment together.
2. No Unsolicited Promotion
To maintain the integrity of our community, we ask members not to solicit other members through direct messages or in other channels. If you have something you’d like to share with the group, please post it in the #self-promotion channel. This ensures everyone who is interested can see it, and it respects those who prefer not to receive promotions.
3. Founders for Founders
We subscribe to a “Founders for Founders” culture. This means we’re here to help each other. If someone asks a question and you know the answer, don’t hesitate to respond. Your insights can make a real difference to someone else’s day or business.
4. Ask for Help
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you have a question, there’s a good chance someone else is wondering the same thing. By asking, you’re helping others too.
5. Mindful Mentioning
Remember, each member is dealing with their own busy schedule and we need to respect their time and attention. Please refrain from using @channel, @here, and similar mass notification methods.
6. Maintain Confidentiality
What’s shared in the community stays in the community. Please respect the privacy of other members and do not share their posts or personal details outside of this space without explicit permission.
7. Constructive Feedback
If you have feedback or a disagreement, keep it constructive and professional. Disagreements are normal and healthy, but let’s help each other in a positive way.
8. Report Concerns
If you notice behavior that does not align with these guidelines, please report it to an MFF staff member. We’re committed to maintaining a respectful and supportive community.
Remember, this is your community. Let’s make it a great place for all members. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to collaborating with you!
